Burning mountain

Chimaira is an old wellknown place in Lykien and still today a very attractive must see nature phenomenon. On top of the mountain there are flames appearing from the holes in the mountain that is enriched with natural gasses. The burning flames gives the mountain a unique look that is best achieved during the evening when it is dark.

Chimaira is from the antique Olympus and is located 25 km south of Kemer.

Departure app 8 pm and return app 10 pm.
